> Communication > Recipient Selection

By default, all the staff roles which have access to compose a message (from > School Setup > Roles) can select students, parents, and guardians recipients from all the class-sections when composing a message.

  1. Select All Class-Sections, Assigned Class-Sections, or None for the respective class recipient selection against a staff role.
    1. For All class-sections selection against a role, the user assigned to this role can select the students, parents, and guardians recipients from all the class-sections.
    2. For Assigned Class-Sections selection against a role, the user assigned to this role can select the students, parents, and guardians recipients from the class-sections he has been assigned in the Subject Teacher Mapping page (Path: > Examination > Subject Teacher Mapping).
With this selection, the user can now select the recipients by only two criteria, namely, Class-Sections and Search Student.
      NOTE:
In this selection, the same user can not select the new applicants in the recipients.
